Adopt-a-bell Fundraising Program
As the Atlanta Concert Ringers enhances its performance schedule, the organization has an increasing need to possess its own set of handbells. ACR members engage in various fundraising activities to meet operating expenses, but their goal is to own a set of Malmark handbells. To achieve this goal, the ringers must also rely on the generosity of ACR patrons. Proceeds from the ACR Adopt-a-Bell Fundraising Program are dedicated to the purchase of a five-octave set of 61 Malmark handbells.
In the ACR Adopt-a-Bell Fundraising Program, individual contributions provide the funds to “adopt” a handbell. The handle of each adopted handbell will display a personalized inscription from the adoptive patron. These inscriptions may acknowledge the patron gift; commemorate a special event; honor an individual, family, church, or organization; or provide a memorial tribute to a loved one. Patrons who adopt handbells are acknowledged in all ACR concert programs.
Adopt-a-Bell features seven donation levels ranging from $150 for the smallest handbells to $1000 for the largest bass bells. Patrons may request to adopt a specific handbell from their selected donation level. Patrons adopting a handbell at the $500 level will receive recognition as Section Leader members in all ACR concert programs and patrons adopting a handbell at the $1000 level will receive special recognition as Conductor’s Circle members in all concert programs.
ACR patrons who do not wish to adopt a handbell, but would like to contribute towards the purchase of handbells, may designate their donations in any amount for the Adopt-a-Bell Fundraising Program.
